Three Peaks Challenge
Documented for ESEA Sisters to support their ongoing fundraising efforts for the Kanlungan Filipino Consortium and the East and South East Asian Community Centre, led by Sin. A group of us from ESEA Sisters committed to complete the Surrey Three Peaks challenge in May 2023. Fuelled by quality snacks, chats and company, we covered over 35km and 1000 metres of ascent within one day. We took on this challenge to raise funds for above-mentioned organisations, who offer a range of services: from hosting cultural festivals, organising daily social events, training and education as well as advocacy for migrant workers. We admire their support for vulnerable and marginalised people and want to ensure both charities continue to empower ESEA communities in London and beyond.
